  • Peoplemover track work???

So yesterday I played in the parks, nothing like walking on to Space again, and noticed work not only on Monorail and Subs. There were a few guys up on the Peoplemover track right near the station and by the monorail station. Did I miss something???? I know I have stopped reading the peoplemover rumors, but this is HUGE!!!!

Good point. I'm hoping that they are doing something with it though, like bringing PeopleMover back...

Relax. It's that time of the year to inspect the drains so that rain doesn't turn the track into a waterfall.

Still........you never know. I can still dream...and remember the new 'motto' is "Disneyland - Where Dreams Come True".

This would seem to be the best explanation for not only this work but the removal of branches near the tracks too.

Actually it's not that huge at all.

There are sightings of people up on the tracks about once every six months or so. If you get a good camera angle (I think Darkbeer has some from a while back), they're really just cleaning. Keep in mind also that the mechanics for the Orgasmatron , um Observatron , er Space Junk have to access the platform from the tracks as well.

                        No cause for excitement really.

Let us think it's coming back. It's better than a big old NO.

I would laugh if this was the one time something was going on....and we are dismissing it as "routine Cleaning"
