The Timon lot has reopened, though with a restricted height limit (13 feet, 9 inches).

FREE parking at the Pummba lot (though no tram service)

A look at the work at the Disneyland Hotel parking area next to the Bonita tower

The 50th Magical Years exhibit is partially reopened

The Frontierland bridge has been repaired, and the water has returned to the Castle Moat and other areas

The Disney Vacation Club signs in the NOS area have been fixed

First off, I said.. WTF.. when I saw the "No Charge Parking" sign, even though we had PS reservations for dinner, we had to make a U-turn and grab some photos of the sign.... I doubt it will last long.....

As for no Tomorrowland photos, I took a bunch on Wednesday, and plan to go back on Sunday. The main purpose of the visit was to allow Lisa to get a Monte Cristo at Cafe Orleans... she was craving one!

Thanks a lot for the pics DB. Once I saw those Haunted Mansion pics, I couldnt even tell you how big of a smile I had on my face. CANT WAIT!!!

I love the new carpet in the Opera House. It's so squishy! And we're getting it in the office too, which is wonderful, because you could probably clone past leads out of the old carpet, it was so gross.

As for why the theatre's been closed intermittently, I really can't go into it. I might get in trouble for talking about it, for one, and it pisses me off to the point that it wouldn't be so much a post as a distillation of frothing rage. I will say that the theatre's not closed entirely (we ran three or four shows last night; apparently the show right after we reopened was completely full), and that it should be done in a couple of weeks.

Awww...that's just sweet. I can't even get my DH to do that for me when we are AT the park (feed a craving) and you make a trip for JUST that. In my next life I want to live close enough to DL to just go like that. I admit this year has been especially hard because I actually have an AP. But, a bit too far to just be driving!!

Make sure Lisa knows she's got a good one!!

I presume due to the painting of the Timon entrance, since the entrance is restricted, they were trying to "bribe" folks to not use Timon.

I saw you guys dining at Cafe Orleans (I think you were on table 211), but I was so swamped myself over on H that I didn't get a chance to say "hi"... plus I find those sorts of meetings a little awkward.

Off Topic:

That link provides some interesting results, when I move the map over towards the parks I get DCA with a completed TOT. Then at the DL entrance it looks like the 50th Flower Mickey it there. When I click to see the Castle the 50th Flower mickey is gone and it's back to the old one. Then if I go back to DCA TOT is not even under construction. Some wierd picture linking happening with it.
