Roy at Disneyland, May 5

Does anyone know if Roy Disney is going to Disneyland on May 5? Does anyone know if he is even allowed in the park? Seeing as Eisner and the execs will all be there (Iger will be in Florida though) I think tensions would be pretty high if he turned up. Also, will Diane and Ron be there? I think I can remember reading somewhere that Diane and Ron distanced themselves from the company when Ron was dismissed as CEO, but that was more than 20 years ago.

Roy Disney was just there on Sunday. I don't think he will be there May 5. And he stated himself that he won't be there on July 17.

Did he give a reason why he wont be there on the birthday? It makes me feel sorta sad, because Roy is the nearest thing we have left (well family wise) to Walt, and I know we have Matt, and Iger is starting to be promising, but well is Roy was still on the board I know he would of had a big part in the 50th.

No clue. I got to see him at the shareholders meeting. I was so happy I cried. Then I cried because I didn't get to say hello and shake his hand and thank him for EVERYTHING he has done. I didn't care about an autograph at that point, I just wanted to say thank you. So.. um... THANK YOU ROY!

So far from what I've seen, it appears the "class act" of the day was Steve Martin. (Kudos to him for deciding that the day was important enough to wear a suit and tie.)

Steve Martin always shows alot of class. As for ME... well, just goes to show (again) how out of touch he is.

Roy wasn't there the 4th. THere was a possibility that he'd be there on the 5th, but I don't think he was.
