  • News: Artist commemorates Disneyland deaths in rug art

    http://www.boston.com/news/globe/liv...sneyland_rugs/

From the Boston Globe, describing a local art show:

"Among the show's most obviously crafty works are Rob Conger's translations of photographs taken at Disneyland into colorful hooked rugs. A wall label explains that Conger's fuzzy pictures of the Matterhorn, Big Thunder Mountain, and the Monorail actually depict places where accidental deaths have occurred in years past. Thus high concept trumps homespun craft."

This image of your cat, fully dressed, requesting a photo shoot (in an English accent mind you) just really got to me. Wow, I need to go catch my breath and maybe see what was in that bottled water I was drinking earlier...

Too bad he didn't incorporate Light Magic and SuperStar Limo in there.

Those two babies were dead on arrival!
