  • I Need Your Help!!!...Best Dessert at DLR?

Sorry for yet another thread by Cacopelao! but my wife and I are planning an in-town vacation this weekend and, of course, it will be centered around Disneyland. I've got a lot of our weekend planned out, including a dinner at the Blue Bayou (reservations early to get a seat by the water--I know).

So here is my question...after our tasty dinner at BB, what is the BEST dessert at either DCA or DL? Indulge your sweet tooth and start posting the must-have desserts that may be hidden from the rest of us. If you know a knock-out fried something-or-other pastry from Paradise Pier, or a delectible Fantasyland treat...let me know. Since we are both AP holders, we are in no rush, so trekking across the parks to get that perfect tasty treat is our perogative.

So what is it that we HAVE to try??

There is this ice cream shop on main st (cant think of the name) and they have the BEST frozen chocolate-covered cheesecake on a stick!!! I love their milkshakes too yummmm. When I am near Splash/Pooh I always grab something from the Pooh treat shop. Their cookies are delicious!

We looove the desserts at Storyteller's Cafe in the Grand Californian. In the park, we like the desserts at Blue Bayou.

For a snack, we love the apples at the place in Pooh's area. They have the best dipped apples. I prefer the "apple pie apple."

By far my absolute favorite would be the Steam N' Chocolate at Bu-r-r-r-bank Ice Cream with one scoop of Cookies and Cream and one scoop of Tollhouse Cookie Swirl...

The cookie boat at Blue Bayou is seriously heavenly. Just imagine the warm cookie, the cool ice cream, the partly melted chocolate chips in the cookie... drooooool.

Be careful! - I gained a great deal of weight from a Coldstone's addiction.

Actually, the best dessert is at the Disneyland Hotel. Hook's Pointe, to be precise: Chocolate Souffle.... (known in other circles as chocolate lava cake or death by chocolate - just trust me, ya gotta have it)

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...
