  • Quick ECV question.

So, I know that there is a current "Guest's with dissibilities" thread going.. but people seem to be debating a bit and I just have a quick question about the ECVs. If I rent one while in DL, is it possible to bring the scooter up to all of the rides so that I can transfer.. or do I have to park it somewhere and hop . SO sad sounding!

    Any one?

For most rides that I can think of off the top of my head, you can stay in the chair right up until you transfer out of it. If you do have to park the chair yourself (as opposed to having the CM move it for you; we usually move them for the guests at Jungle Cruise, but I can't really vouch for other rides), you're usually parking it very close to the loading area, so you may have to hop, but it's only a few feet.

The only one I can think of isn't even opened yet. The Submarine Voyage with Nemo (Unless they have a wheelchair elevator for it or someone else can correct me on it).

Yes, an ECV is considered a wheelchair for those purposes.

        Drive right on up!
