  • Anoter AP and a DTD Question

    Roll 'em all into one

First, when I upgrade, do I just go to the ticket window and tell them I want to upgrade?

Second, are they all the same? Like, right now I hae a pretty castle and clouds one and I'd rather have that than the ugly Mickey...

Third, will they take away my old P? Obviously I won't be able touse it, but like I said it's a prtty design!

And when will Jamba Juice open on Saturday?
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I believe you go to Guest Relations over by the entrance to DCA.

With regards to the actual AP itself, you probably just keep the same card and they do the change (upgrade) internally.

    No idea about JJ.

In order for discounts and all that to work correctly, they have to print up a new pass. As much as I would love it to be able to scan Annual Passes and have the appropriate discount amount applied automatically like with Cast discounts (in Stores at least), we don't do that, and have to visually inspect the pass to be sure it's a Premium.

You can upgrade your AP at the Ap Processing Center (in DL, it's at the Bank on Main Steet)

I believe you can only get the Mickey one by renewing. So you should get the castle one.

If you're not renewing, they will take your old AP when you upgrade. I was bummed to find this out because I really liked my Tink AP but when I upgraded she said it was like "cash" and it needs to be accounted for.

As for Jamba Juice, I'm not sure.

SeaWorld's system does this, and it is great. It applies the correct amount depending on the type of AP.

Seems like an easy thing to set up, and it will help to prevent mistakes.

On the other hand, Taste Pilots Grill self service machines still have not been re-programmed when they made the Food discounts changes 12 months ago..... (Premium AP's only get 10%)

If it is a blockout date, you need to do it at Guest SERVICES which is on the left side of the Disneyland turnstiles (Not the Guest Relations by DCA). Guest Relations does not handle money.

If not, you can do it there or the Bank of Main Street.

Thanks (to you and all )

Yay, i hope I get the castle one

Bummer they'll take the old one... I like the "proof" of the pass. And that's alkso a good reason to renew via mail - they don't take your old pass

new question then... are the lines still TOTALLY long there? I'll be there 3:30ish on Friday.

maybe if you go and don't act like you have your old pass with you?
I got mine after letting it lapse for a year, so my situation is different, but I do still have my old card (with Goofy!) and occasionally it lets me get additional fast passes :yea:
