Autopia to close on October 2nd for about a month

While not listed at Disneyland.com, Autopia will be closing for about 4 weeks after the park closes on Sunday to allow for work on the new Finding Nemo Sub Lagoon attraction. During this closure, expect to see some work done on Autopia, but the majority of the work will be to the Sub Lagoon which required the track to be closed for safety reasons.

I'm glad you gave us this heads up. Autopia is the kids' favorite ride, and we're going tonight and probably Sunday, too. We'll make sure they get a couple of turns. Where did you get the information?

From multiple sources, but the confirming source was a few CM's working the ride on Thursday.....

They should paint Autopia a new color scheme while it's closed - - The remnants of TL '98 need to go.

Soo Sad.....we'll be there the 3rd and 4th and dd4 was looking forward to this one....oh well, I know there'll be plenty else to do.

My cast member reference guide says it closes Oct 2 and reopens Oct 23. That's only 3 weeks, not 4...

It would be interesting to see Autopia ultimately get a total refurb to be a bit more like the electric cars in Hong Kong.

Those puppies stop on a dime (which is better than stopping on a puppy).
