  • DTD tips

Hello everyone. We will be heading to DLR on Monday afternoon. Woohoo! Anyway, I've grown up going to DL so I'm familiar with that but I've yet to go to DTD. Since we won't get there till about 4:00 we're going to spend mon. evening in DTD and the Tues and Wed at the parks. I know we're going to have dinner at Rainforest and then head over to ESPNZone since my dh is a lifetime Eagles fan and they're playing Mon. night Football that night. We'll be walking around too so any suggestions of places to check out?
BTW, it will be me, dh, dd4 and dd 18mo.
    Thanks for your input!

You'll like it! Like my ex, it's tons of fun.

You may consider having dinner at ESPN, they have good food. There are tons of fun shops to go shop and window shop. You may want to hit up the lego store, it is fun and amazing to see what they have built out of legos. There is also build a bear, which I have heard mixed reviews about. Often there is live entertainment ( MUCH better than dead entertainment) and lots going on.

    Good luck!

Ive been told that ESPNZone gets pretty busy on Monday nights (I can only imagine, Ive seen it pretty busy on ANY night) so maybe get there ASAP to get a good table.

Definitely go straight to ESPN if you plan on watching the game there. Call ahead to see if they take reservations. We went, and they told us it would be about an hour wait. one and a half hours later, we were still waiting so we just gave up.
of course you could just watch the game in the bathroom . . . .

ESPN Zone requires i think $10 min order PER HOUR PER PERSON to keep sitting during a game...this was the case in Vegas during the NBA playoffs and DTD during MNF...i think i read something on MC about it too...

ESPN has a GREAT burger and WINGGGSSSSS
Three-time MVP Larry Bird, noting that Bryant has been the NBA's premier player for years, told Sports Illustrated's Dan Patrick before this week's announcement, "When someone told me the other day that Kobe hadn't won an MVP trophy, it sort of made me feel like I wanted to throw mine away."
