    Re: Plectu's Galactic Revue?!?

Plectu's Galactic Revue was to have gone in the revolving theater per pictures and description shown by Tony Baxter on the "new" Tomorrowland. This was done in Tomorrowland during one of the Annual Passholder's nights they used to do for us. The entire outside of the building was to have been made over as a flying saucer that had crashed into Tomorrowland and he and his crew of aliens had to make money, to buy parts, to repair the ship so they could go home. That's the show that they were going to do, to make money. The outside of the building would have been totally changed but the inside moving theater would have been redone to resemble the inside of the ship and the aliens (A/A figures) would put on the show. I wish I could find the art work for this. It was posted on Mice Age by Al a year or so before the tomorrowland opening. Why wasn't it done? Paul Pressler would not approve the budget.

Alien Encounter would have gone in the Mission to Mars building just as it did in Florida. But the budget for that one attraction was more than the budget for the entire Tomorrowland makeover, so that never got approved either.

Yup, that's what I heard as well. Basically similar to what happened in MK.

Yes. That would have been a HUGE amount of work.

Thanks for the quick response. I guess I'll check thru JimHill's archives for
    his article on Tomorrowland 2055.

    Plectu's Galactic Revue?!?

According to wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mission...land_Aftermath this was a trio of attractions (along w/ Alien Encounter and The Timekeeper) that
would have gone into Tomorrowland 2055.

Does anyone know where this would have gone in?

My guess is where HISTA is and that it was a show/movie.
Anyone have any info about this? I've heard rumors/stories about Alien Encounter
and Timekeeper in DL before, but haven't heard of Plectu's! (The only thing I found
is a reference to it in Al's Archives from March, 2000)

    Much TIA!
