I only saw a few pictures of the outside, but what do those of you who have seen it think about it? It looks kinda tacky to me, and a little random because it doesn't go with anything else in the area.

(Not that I dislike Golden Dreams, it's actually a fantastic movie but I'm not stupid enough to think that Golden Dreams is pulling in more people than Screams.)

Re: Golden Screams
We skipped the DL parade to try this out on our last day at the park. Unfortunately, we should have gone to the parade.
The Screams is supposed to be done in an awards show style, and like any awards show it recycles a lot of footage from old disney animated movies. Nothing new, and the only thing "live" about the show is the audience. There is a CM as the emcee, and a brief appearance by a villain at the end.
Other than that, the best part of the show is that after, there are multiple characters out front that you can get a picture or an autograph from.

What was amazing to see was the amount of interest in the show. The 5o'clock show was packed! CM's actually had to start turning people away! Let's see Whoopi do that!

Re: Golden Screams
I can't believed I waiting in line 30 minutes to see such a poor idea.
At the 2 PM show today there were no characters waiting where we exited the theatre.
All I can say is run screaming away fromt the theatre.

Re: Golden Screams
It just seems like that area is a "bad luck" spot. Golden Dreams/Golden Screams - they both sound like a Golden Flop! I have never seen Golden Dreams, and have no desire to see it. Based on what I have read here today I wouldn't waste my time with Golden Screams either.

Re: Golden Screams
It is cute - the kids love it! The theater is packed for most every show. The characters are supposed to change periodically (different days -different characters). THe characters are there when you go in - under the entrance canapy just before the turn styles (for the person who missed them when they excited).
It is worth seeing - it is different and as I said - the kids love it.sigpicMinnietoo
