    Crowns are up!

    I just saw a live shot on Good Morning America (7:30am Eastern; 4:30am Pacific). They showed a shot of the castle with the crowns in place. There was still construction equipment in front of the castle, so it appears they are still working on getting things ready.

    Have a super day, you guys 'n' gals on the West Coast!!!!!!!

        It looks BEAUTIFUL!!! Way better than the concept art. It's more shiny gold than a yellow that I was expecting. Good job, Disneyland! :bow:

            I only saw it on GMA. I even went to a few news websites to see if they had the pics up that they were showing live and they didn't.

              Television coverage was very dissapointing. They really did not show much. The best thing was Walt Disney's apartment and the interview with Steve martin.

              MiceChatters have provided more info and better pictures.

                I know, it seemed as if they showed more of WDW for Good Morning America, and they said they would talk about Remember...they didn't.

                  WDW definitely got WAY TOO much attention on GMA! In the words of dnsylndmom, it was ricockulous!

                  Did anyone see Regis & Kelly??? (obviosuly not west coasters yet) they added a new prize to their prize wheel and it was ( I think- not sure I have the details exact) 9 days at WDW and 8 days at DL, hotels, round trip airfare and 1000 disney dollars!!! The whole trip was valued at $13,000! Can you imagine winning a prize like that???? I think I would die of a heart attack before I could make it!

                      The first actual fan shot of the castle (that I know of) is now up over at LaughingPlace's live feed site. Images there scroll off after a bit, so I'm not sure a link is much of a help.

                        I was thinking more of Disneyland and then off to Hawaii and then to TDL!
