Christening of the Tomorrowland Terrace - 9/30/06

I know most of you were busy with the Gumball Rally and MiceQuest, but last night marked the first performance at the newly re-christened Tomorrowland Terrace. Suburban Legends was on hand to provide the night's entertainment and I snagged a video while I was there.

I was there that day, and I really like Suburban Legends. But, I didn't get a chance to go over there. So, thanks for the video.

Man, I wish I would have known they were playing, I was actually there that night! I went to high school with those guys back when they were still called the Bomb Squad, and I still have my cassette tape that a friend recorded for me from the first Suburban Legends CD that they recorded on a computer and copied at Kinkos. Would have been nice to see them again. ^_^

Great video. It looks like a lot of fun. In all my years of going to Disneyland I don't think I have ever stopped and listened to a concert at the Tomorrowland Terrace. Maybe it is time to change that.

I was there! They were great. Very high energy and had the crowd jumping!
Mickey and Minnie were there in their Halloween Time costumes dancing the night away!

The TT looks great! I love the new look.

Oddly, without plants and better lighting, I still like the classic Tomorrowland Terrace better. Maybe they should re-hire Rolly for some additional tweaking. Still, it's vastly better than Club Buzz Kill.

It was awesome. With the Tomorrowland Terrace and the Big Band over at the Carnation Plaza, I think we could be looking at a revival of Disneyland After Dark/Date Night at Disneyland.

That makes me so happy! Takes me back to the summer of 85 and I'm hearing "Easy Lover" (phil collins) while I take a ride on the Peoplemover.

they played again tonight as well. thier sets were great. happy to see something other than cover bands playing that stage. I REALLY hope to see more original fun bands on that stage!

I saw them on Saturday when I was scoping out the MiceQuesters playing their game in Tomorrowland. Those guys ROCK!!
