  • Star Wars Timelines OUT THE WINDOW!

Ok, allow me to dork out for a second...

But it started with Star Tours with including the Death Star. Yeah... they kinda threw the end of A New Hope out the window. But hey, they should edit in a Starspeeder to a new special edition.

Now Darth Maul is paired up with a full grown Anakin (Darth Vader).

It's one of those small detail things like why are Ariel and The Beast in their animal like form even though they change back in the end of the stories.

    Ok, why am I complaining?

DARTH FRICKIN VADER IS AT DISNEYLAND! w00t :yea:

Darth Mall was killed at the end of Star Wars Episode One, Darth Vader (adult Anakin) doesn't even come into the picture until the end of Episode Three... at least 20 years difference in the timeline.

Right... are we talking about the Jedi Training Camp at the park? Or a DVD? I'm confused, too.
Don't worry, this is the internet. Dorking-out is encouraged.

In a Fiction Book they say Maul lived and used the force to live and then went to a hosptial and they reconnected his body...they could say that if they wanted..

random trivia for you, they made the xwing squad too big, there were only 12 per squadron and they say something like 13, 15 or something, i know they say too many though

Ahhh... Ok. They now have the Jedi Academy where the Club Buzz stage was. Darth Mall apparently fights Darth Vader on stage at some point.

Whoa, back up for a second. Star Wars is fiction? I thought it was real.

Or how about this. The Vader suit does not necessarily have Anakin Skywalker in it, but some other force trained individual who was a contemporary of Darth Maul and is thus far not mentioned in Star Wars canon.
I haven't seen the show, so I don't know how the Death Star figures into this.
Of course we can let it go, since not even a special edition version of ANH has a Starspeeder 3000 covering Luke as he blows up the Death Star.

Disney big on wackily messing up stories for their attractions and shows. Want evidence? Mr. Toad's Wild Ride- exactly when did the prosecutor from the movie morph into a judge, and when was Toad killed by train and sent to hell for all eternity?

You know, I always wondered about that, myself. I think someone tried to put a message it the ride, besides "stealing a motorcar is bad" (also, "in-breeding among nobility causes insanity in offspring", but what six-year-old is going to get that message?). Because doesn't Toady (in the ride) have a couple of beers and then gets hit by the train. I think Disneyland may be responsible for one of the first "don't drink and drive" messages by an entertainment corporation.

Normally I would go off on a subject like this but it really doesn't bother me. All I know is that my son is now a bonafide padawan. He even has the diploma to prove it......

Actually, according to canon Darth Maul did survive.

Here's the front page of the Star Wars comic which explains how Darth Maul survived and why Uncle Owen didn't want anything to do with Obi Wan.

That doesb't mean its cannon its only Cannon if Lucus says so...and he has yet to say if Maul has survied or not so its noncannon.

All of the EU writers in the world couldn't explain Star Tours. Why obsess over yet another SW continuity error at Disneyland )

Wait, which mall did this happen at? If it was the Beverly Center - completely understandable & regrettable. Rave on Ray Park & RIP Darth Maul !
