The year was 1977, and I was 4 years old. This was one of the many childhood trips to Disneyland, but one of the most memorable.
I was never one to watch shows, because why sit down when there are so many rides? Kids love rides.
But, my parents loved the Golden Horseshoe Revue, so I found myself "stuck" for nearly an hour, meanwhile the teacups would be outside spinning without me on them.
But, it became an opportunity for a moment of fame, when the stars asked for a volunteer from the audience, and they chose me! I ran up to the stage in excitement, for I was to assist the show in helping to play an instrument - the trombone.
It was an interesting melody, but eventually I had pulled the slide all the way out, and thought I broke it!
However, when the audience started to laugh, I smiled and waved, because I made them laugh.
And thankfully, my dad caught it on film, so I thought I'd share:

Do any of you have wonderful memories from this show?
