Mint Juleps?

Does anyone else NOT like the Mint Juleps? It tastes like icky, sugary mint tea stuff. I LOVE tea, too... but this stuff so doesn't so it for me.

Any one else feel that way?

My wife says "GREEN never tasted so bad." I like them because they ARE green......looks like I'm drinking coolant for the car and then they have a little mini sword and a cherry and a little mint leaf.

It just looks nice too!

I actually ruined MINT JULEPS for my brother-in-law. He loved them until I told him I think they taste like SCOPE. Now he thinks they taste like SCOPE too! I said I was sorry...

I'm with you MissViolet, I think the juleps are gross. They taste like the smell of cheap bathroom disinfectant. :yuck:

When we visited the Blue Bayou, I ordered a Mint Julep. My grandson had his usual chocolate milk. He devoured the chocolate milk, like he usually does. He then said, "what are you drinking grandma?" I said, "have a taste, Sean," which he did. He then ordered one for himself.

I know! I LOVE mint... mint candies, tea, frosting, toothpaste, mouthwash and so on... but these things are just terrible. T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E.

I love Mint juleps!!! I cannot leave the park w/o one - I feel incompleate. Mint Julep and a Churro - that's what I need for a happy day @ DL!!

Personally, I don't really like it. I also don't like Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream. But I can have them if they're offered to me. I love that they come with two cherries though.

this is a real Mint Julep, it's like a Mojito without the lime and using Bourbon instead of light rum.

I think mint juleps are ok. It's not something I need to have when I'm at the park, but I order it when I eat at the French Market. Of course, a splash of bourbon would probably be good!
