On 10/1 we went to the park so we could win our churros. We were there at 8:30 and left a 8:30 - we did not see one prize patrol person. So needless to say - I didn't win anything (yet).
When speaking with a cast member at Ariel's grotto he said that he has seen them out a lot and that when the FASTPASS prize was awarded it was given to the whole group (family) at once - so everyone got to ride using the fastpass. So for those that complained that this was not a good prize for one - it is a great prize for your whole group!
Many people were seen with the new dreams ears hats - yet I don't recall seeing them in the stores - so maybe they were prizes also.
Princesses were out a lot - and a lot of CM in costume and a lot of suits were out walking the park.
I kept seeing a new uniform of navy pants and a light blue shirt - people (mostly one lady) walking around not seeming to be doing anything - and not working at any one location - hm m m m maybe she was a supervisor or something like that. She was not dream patrol.
Golden Screams was cute - theater was packed for show times. The only villans that were out were: Q of hearts, Hook, and the fox and cat from Peter Pan (I think). The CM did say that the villians would change periodically (different villians on different days).
The park was crowded - but then I found out many LA area schools were closed on Monday 10/1 - so maybe that impacted the crowds. At 4 PM they announced that the park would extend closing until 11 PM and they would be adding a 10 PM Fantasmic showing (that night). It was so funny - right after the announcement it started to rain (only a little drizzle that didn't last very long) - but I thought the timing was perfect!
Decorations are fabulous - but those that posted pictures already showed you that.
