Hey Hey! I'm going to be at disneyland over the week of thanksgiving and not wanting to deal with the crowds on Turkeyday, I was looking for suggestions of things to do around the resort that don't involve the two theme parks. Any thing?

Re: Other things to do
On Turkey Day, we do DL in the morning and later in the evening and have been known to sneak in to catch the parade as well. The rest of the day is spent in the Neverland Pool, walking through DTD, enjoying Dinner at the Buffet in the DL Hotel's Grand Ballroom, and catching a flick at the theatre.
Keeps us busy!
Enjoy!

Re: Other things to do
I went to Dland last Thanksgiving and we ate lunch/dinner at Mimi's across the street (on Harbor). I called a few days ahead of time to make reservations and it was really yummy! If you like Italian food, Maris is also across the street, on Katella. If you have a bike, you can go for a ride on the Santa Ana River trail, it will take you all the way to the beach!
Fingers crossed I can convince my parents to drive up again this year cause I'd rather stay home then drive for turkey-day!

Re: Other things to do
Hey, I'm not sure when the Anaheim Gardenwalk is going to open, but if open by November, that's another great thing to do, with all the great restaurants and shops going in there.
If you're interested in Universal Studios, they also have a free bus that will take you from Disneyland to their theme park, and return you back again, all at no charge.
