Hotels all booked up this weekend - what's going on?

Hi, MCers!

My wife and I were planning to go to Disneyland Saturday and Sunday, but all the local hotels, including the DLR hotels, are booked up (at least for online reservations, anyway). Is there a big event going on at Disneyland or in Anaheim this weekend?

I searched the forums but didn't find anything.

It could be because of Gay Days and the CHOC Walk, but I like to think it's because of Foghat!

GayDays weekend always draws a big crowd!

Check a few of the hotels a little further away, still within a mile but not walking distance. Good Luck!

Last year was the first year going to Disneyland during Gay Days (without knowing it existed) and it brough in A LOT OF PEOPLE!

Yea. With Gay Days, CHOC and Columbus Day Monday, I'm not expecting to do much but hang with my Michchat friends, have some cocktails and people watch. 'sall good.
