  • October 1, 2006 trip report

I've posted a trip report from the first weekend of Disney's Halloweentown which includes information about Halloween decorations on Main Street and at the Hollywood Tower Hotel, information about the new Golden Screams show and Woody's Halloween Roundup and dinner at French Market. Includes over 100 pictures.

    Here's a link: http://www.colddeadfish.net/dlr/dlr092306tr.html.

    Thanks!

    Great report.

As it is unlikely that I'll ever make it to a Disney park for a 'special event' any time soon, this is almost as good as being there. Thanks to folks like you - and Darkbeer, Sadako and anybody else I've neglected to mention - Disneyland doesn't seem so far away...

I might be seeing things - but I think you posted the wrong report. The one you have got is from Sept 23rd, not Oct 1st

You're right. I'm an idiot. I posted the wrong link. The link I posted was to the September trip report.

        Here's the correct link: http://www.colddeadfish.net/dlr/dlr100106tr.html.

        Thanks.

Hahaha those potato head cakes are... bizarre GREAT trip report!

My favorite line: "The best way to describe the taste was waxy chalk with a bit of fruit flavoring." LOL apparently they've been taking cake-making lessons from the Plaza Inn Birthday area, as they give out that waxy chalk stuff over there too. Though not in potato head form, of course. Appetizing

Fantastic report! I've never seen the Bullseye charcater before, great shot with Jesse behind. My kids would love the Potato Head cake. Thanks for sharing.
