As far as I can remember, theres no tax on any of the tickets to the park.

For Disneyland Resort tickets, there is no state or local tax, you pay the price posted for the ticket.

On the other hand, tickets for WDW in Orlando, Florida does have tax added to it...

For example, A One Day, One Park ticket at WDW is $67, then $4.36 of tax is added to make the ticket cost $71.36

A WDW Premium AP is $559, and then you add $36.36 in tax, and the total price is $595.36.

There is a sales tax... its already included in the face price of the ticket.

Actually, admission tickets are exempt from sales tax in California

So Disney gets to keep the entire amount, and do not have to share any of the income as a "sales tax" on tickets sold for the Anaheim park.

On the other hand, Disney does have to pay regular income taxes on the profit to both the Federal and State governments.

Re: Question about AP for DL

Its interesting that there is no tax on the tickets, yet Disney will say "theme park ticket prices are tax inclusive". I remember there was a time they printed the price on the ticket and there was tax then, as it would say something like:

                Ticket $48.00
                Tax $4.00
                Total $52.00

They must have the old wording still.
