It used to be a Cast Member back stage parking lot, for Maintenance mostly.

Looks like you are just coming around the turn before the loop. I had imagined this area as more up towards the northwest end of Screamin'.

I love getting pictures and video while on Screamin'. Not that hard to do if you prepare for it and secure your camera well. Great shot. Thanks, as always, for the updates Darkbeer.

Riding Screamin' is a GOOD thing, and I got the photo on the first take (only one ride that day).

But on previous days, I had scoped out the angle, which side I wanted to sit on, etc. So when the opportunity came up, got the most of it....

The Sun Wheel isn't bad, heck, it was the first ride that Lisa and I rode together But hope for less than a 10 minute wait, the queue is awful, especially the stationary side.

    I miss the Monorail.....

As for Autopia, some great shots right now, and looking forward to it reopening so I can get some shots of the new Monorail ramp that is better than a funky angle, like I got today. But I feel funny riding it alone... Heck, I drive the freeways enough in REAL car...

As for Innoventions, I wish they had an express entrance... Had to wait about 8 minutes for an "open" stage to show up, and then listen to the Tom opening AGAIN... That is getting old... I feel for the CM's that have to hear it EVERY working day.....

Great pics Darkbeer! Can't wait to find out more info about Midway Mania. So how many times did you have to ride Screamin to get the awesome pics?

Poor Darkbeer, you make such sacrifices for us. First going on Innoventions to get pics of the construction there and now riding Screamin over and over to get pics of that construction. Thanks for your dedication.

FYI, California Screamin' is closed as of today (Monday, 10/8) for a few days to allow some construction equipment near the tracks to work on placing the foundation for the new building.

Ok, not only did I get to see the photos, but I also found my way back here.

Well done again (if additional thanks were necessary).

As far as I know it's only going to be for Midway Mania. However, they could of course surprise us with a surprise ride - maybe TLM? A dream, I know, but it could happen!

When I clicked on the link, smugmug seemed to be "having some temporary technical difficulties". So I'll thank you NOW as I'm sure these are bound to be terrific photos (as always).

Just in the event that I don't find my way back to this thread at a later point. It's such a dizzying time!
