The Many Adventures of the Floating Pooh?

I mean, I'm not proposing an entire attraction shut down and overhaul because its highly unlikely Disney would do that. But what if Pooh was improved and gradually brought up to Disney dark ride standard through plussing and slowly adding new show elements? Just little surprises here and there?

Anything else that would make the attraction more appealing to general guests overall (I'm not talking just about the Disney geek demographic here - I'm trying to include 'normal' people too).

I really like the Pooh ride, but I must admit, it looks a bit off.

I know that people don't like the Heffalump and Woozle part of the ride, but it's my favorite. Maybe the colors could be toned down a bit. They're a bit gaudy. Maybe they could add a scene where you're going through the bee hive following Pooh's balloon and they could add that effect that's in Indian Jones.. the air spear thing.. Make it seem like the bees are flying by and stuff. I dunno.. *ponders*

To live would be an awfully big adventure.

And a 'floating Pooh' just brings up a whole lot of other messy problems...

My problems with the ride goes deeper than the displays. The path is flat and dull and the building seems almost as if it was designed for another type of ride entirely.

Doesn't the WDW version have some sort of room for Tigger where the actual vehicle jumps up and down? I vaguely remember a friend of mine telling me that.

What's the point of the vehicle moving up and down? Besides that I think it's ok, but not great.

Because you're bouncing with Tigger. It's "bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy, fun, fun, fun!"

I'm sure the Imagineers would love to go Blue Sky on all of the attractions.

Buzz Lightyear is a far worse ride than Pooh. They should get rid or work on that ride instead.

I remember the last time I was at WDW, back in 1998, Buzz Lightyear was a walk on. Which we thought was cool, because it was totally new and different for us. But after having it here for a couple years, I can see why nobody goes on it at WDW.

                            Yeah, some Pooh Bear targets.

Pooh should be gutted and redone.
THIS (Tokyo Disneyland's Pooh's Huney Hunt) should be the blueprint

....and a plotline, conflict, better theming, and interesting track layout besides a lazy river.

Buzz actually has a fairly coherent plotline that's laid out pretty well in the queue. I admit that the track layout is pretty boring, but otherwise I disagree with your assessment.

Besides, people ride Buzz to shoot at shiny things. It's fairly simple.
