  • A Suite View

So...the Birthday trip is fast approaching...and I'm thinking about our view. Has anyone stayed in a theme-park view suite at the Grand Californian before? Last year, we were moved to a suite after a mix-up with our room. This was our view...

We stayed in room 5329 and as you can see, had a great view of Grizzly Peak. I'm wondering if there is a suite that has a view of both the Peak and Paradise Pier. Looking at the room layout of the hotel...

...I'm wondering if room X359 would have such a view.
Anyway, I'd love to see the room views that people have had in the past!

In the morning, we had another great view...

The Peak peeking out of the fog was totally great.
I wish someone else would post some pics...

      wink, wink...

You know what, the Grand Californian is a beautiful and incredible hotel and all, but I dont think it is worth all that extra money. If you have enough money to blow on one of the suites then by all means do so, but if not, the only difference between the rooms from GC and PP are the way they are designed. No change in service or amendities (dont think i spelled that right) its just way more expensive. There really isnt any Disney in the room itself besides they Bambi shower curtain. Its more of a formal adult hotel rather than a kids Disney hotel but maybe that is what you want. If I had kids, I would much rather go to DLH or PP for more of a Disney theme. I dont mean to ruine it for you or anything DisneyPrincess but I personally dont think its worth it.

Now that is a view. I would love to wake up to that.
