Well here it is. The thread no one has been waiting for but... you're getting it anyway. :lol: This past weekend I went to my first ever MiceChat meet up. I had been to Disneyland before since joining, but this is the first time I have met any other MiceChatters. PrincessButtercup, HakunaMaKarla, SCUBAbe and Neverneverland were gracious enough to let me stay with them in the Disneyland motel and hang out with them for two days. These total strangers got me to do things not even my own family could get me to do...like ride Mulholland Madness. :lol:
But like they say... what happens in the motel room stays in the motel room. So we can't tell you about how Saturday night-Sunday morning at about 1 AM after coming back from meeting the DMCA at the Lost Bar how PrincessButtercup took Karla's Pj's and......uh... ummm... well actually it was a very quiet peaceful night and nothing happened at all. Nope. Not a thing. Nothing to see here...lets move on shall we... :whistling:
Saturday I got to the hotel ahead of the others. I went on over to Disneyland and headed for the hub for my first ever meet.
I was sitting on a bench across from the hub, and the first person I spotted was Wolfy!! I went over and walked up to her and introduced myself! She and Wolfette and Club 33 were the first ones there. For those that don't know, that is Wolfy in the top left with the back of Wolfettes head, in the upper right is Dsnylndmom and Momabot, Dusty in the center of course and the lower left is RoseRedAngel, Chernabog and O-nut. Club33 finishes out the shots in the lower right. And I believe that is Hector standing behind Club33!
Ok... I put a second pic of Chernabog and O-nut on this one... but I'm not going to edit it now. You wanted to see the same pic again anyway didn't you?
In the center Dusty chats with LostBoy, and the bottom pics RoseRedAngel give Fishbulb a rub.
After I left the met I headed over to the motel and caught up with PrincessButtercup, Karla, SCUBAbe, Quiltmaker and her hubby Matt Hamand and their son Adam, who was wonderful!! He was such a good baby the whole time! He was a lot of fun to have with us too! First, the view from our motel room in the Sierra Tower, Karla, PB and Quiltmaker having fun with cotton candy, and PB after Grizzly Rapids.

PB and NeverNeverland with Minnie at DCA and PB and NeverNeverland with Hercules! Oh yeah... and that weird person with a penguin with Minnie.
Sunday we headed over to the hub to put in an appearance for the met. We didn't stay to long, since we were going to head over and see Billy and the Hillbillies for the lunchtime show! On the top are some Characters, and even some from Disneyland! Ok.... the characters are on the left and members of the DMCA are on the right! Stitchtt6 on the left, and RoseRed, PB and Karla on the right.
Last set!!! Yeah!!! A not to clear shot of Billy and the Hillbillies, Asimo the robot, and would you want to see that person outside the window of YOUR virtual vacation????
And finally NeverNeverland, Dontbecheekin, (did I spell that right?), Karla, Becky and StitchTT6 waiting for Haunted.
And there you have it. A brief and uneventful trip report. For some reason I didn't take nearly as many pictures as I thought I did. And some of the ones I did take didn't turn out. Um... I might just splurge for my birthday before my December visit and get a new camera!
I'm still very tired but it was a blast!!! I had a fantastic time meeting so many wonderful new people and spending time with them!! I look forward to coming back in December with Ride Warrior and KC and hope that I will not only get to see some of you again, but also to meet even more!
So... anyone else who has some pics of the weekend and wants to, please feel free to post them here and tell us of your adventures too!!! (Please excuse any typos or spelling... I'm old and still recovering from the weekend!! :lmao
