I recently won an "Imagineer only exclusive" pin, from what i heard, Is this true.

The pin says "Disney Imagineering" on it in Disney font and has a little 50 on the bottom left hand corner and says "established 195?" (I don't have the pin on me right now so i don't know the year. On the pin holder thing it said its an Exclusive and Limited edition pin. ???

I tryed finding photos of it but it has other imagineering pins that are similar.

Where did you win it? WDI pins are usually much better than those sold at the parks. Pinpics.com is probably the best search site. Just search under WDI or imagineeering.

There were many WDI 50th pins released, so unless I see a picture or get a great description, I really can't tell you much. Most WDI pins are worth a lot to pin traders.

That is the exact pin, but the 50th isnt in color, it is pure gold.

What is it worth. It is my first ever pin, which started my collectioin and trading around the resort. I want to trade it for an "I was there" pin I don't care which year at the resort. I'll be at the parks tomorrow if you want to trade.

What do you mean worth? You mean trade value?

Hmm well it is a Limited Edition of 2500 but the Want/Trading ratios isn't that good. So in my opinion you could go either way. Trade or Keep. Depends on what the sentimental value you have towards it. It is a CM exclusive so I would keep it for that aspect. But if you are going to trade with a CM in the park..I wouldn't trade it. Those lanyards shouldn't get LE's in my opinion. You should GET LE's OFF their lanyards.

Non gold ones? hmmm I don't really know what you mean by that. It IS an LE meaning that you should NOT trade it to a CM unless you see something on their lanyard that is also LE or very wanted on PinPics.

With pins its not a matter of whether its a good tradable pin. All pins are for trade. The thing you want to remember when trading with CM's is to get a pin worth trading. What I did was have a collections of "traders" and when I saw a pin on a CM lanyard that I KNEW was of good value I would take my low valued trader pin and trade with them. I would HAVE to know the value of the pin...I was trading for.

Gosh...it can get complicated so I hope that made some sort of sense.
