Re: Anyone have the Indiana Jones 10th anniversary items?
They had a special event for Indy one evening, that
was actually held mostly in Adventureland. I didn't
attend this event, because this was when the event
prices started getting obnoxiously high. From reports
that I had read on line, it sounded like the event was
really disorganized and confusing.
various pieces of merchandise celebrating Indy's 10th
Anniversary were available 1st to the people who attended
this event. Even though much of the merchandise was
rather limited, I saw several of the pieces available in
DL stores (Adventureland Bazaar, Disney Gallery, Disneyanna)
a few days after the event.
I was fortunate to get the one figure that I wanted,
Mickey, Donald, and Goofy riding in an Indy Jeep, with
a big round boulder above and behind the Jeep where
it looks like Goofy is trying to hold it back, and the
large snake (that bobbles) in front of the jeep. The
headlight light up, too.
I don't recall the date of the event, but I think it was
Spring of 2005. Of course at that time, most everone
really had their attention on the upcoming 50th festivities
instead of the 10th Anniversary of Indy.
Critter Country's a mess ev'r since the Country Bears were kicked out. Ya can't cover pooh with honey and 'spect people ta like it.

WOW! Do you happen to have a picture of this piece of art? I'd LOVE to see it!
Re: Anyone have the Indiana Jones 10th anniversary items?
i have the pin
i would have gotten the sculptures but the lady behind the counter said they were regular merchandise. so by the time i got enough money, they were gone
Re: Anyone have the Indiana Jones 10th anniversary items?
-Obelisk
-Snow Globe
-Temple Minature (about 12" in height)
-Pocket Watch w/ Compass
-Pin
-T-Shirt
-Vintage Desk Clock Event Gift
-Pin in metal case Event Gift
-Clock
I've also got several sets of the scavenger hunt cards guests were supposed to use as they went through Indy, Pirates and Tarzan's Treehouse looking for clues. The "event gifts" weren't really that great and the event itself was poorly managed. It did offer me the opportunity to ride through Indy with the lights on though. The best piece from this event both in price and style is easily the obelisk ($35.00). What I found annoying was that these items that were supposed to be exclusive to the 10th anniversary event were out in the Indy shop the next day. So much for exclusive!

Reason: more info
We bought some of the merchandise when we attended the event. Even though there were definite problems, overall, I had a good time. There was quite a bit of merchandise left over - I even saw some that ended up at the character warehouse in Fullerton.
I posted a full review of the event here: http://www.colddeadfish.net/dlr/indyevent.html. If you scroll down some from the top, there are pictures of all the merchandise that was available. Warning if you actually decide to read the entire review - it's *VERY* long. I had a lot to say...
