I'm Going to Club 33!!!! Post Your Advice, Suggestions, Reccomendations Here!!!

First of all, sorry to rub it in, but I AM SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!! I know so many people want to ge their whole lives and never get the chance, but I was invited by a friend of a friend of a friend (and so on....). Seriously, I've been looking forward to this for 29 years (and I'm only 28!)

Well, he's making reservations today, but I wanted to know, for those that have been, what I need to know to make this experience the best. What food I should get, if there is a special table I should look out for, etc. Seriously, I don't know anything about the inside of the club (absent some pictures), and this may be the only time I get to go.

So, for those that have been, what suggestions do you have?

Don't eat for 24 hours prior to going or 24 hours after. I stuffed myself more at Club 33 than I ever have in my life.

Remember to ask for the mints and take as many souveniers as are ok to take. For example, take plenty of the napkins from the bathroom, but for crying out loud, don't be like some of my dork friends who felt the need to take the silverware... seriously...

I was also invited, I think its awsome you are going. I did not go, my friends I was with were not included so nope I did not go. But I would have liked to. Have a great time and tell us all about it when you get back

Have fun and go photo and video crazy. Chances are, you may never go inside again! Bring money for things to buy!

Enjoy your trip to Club 33. My recommendations would be to have at least one drink. You can take pictures so bring a camera and money for any souvenirs you might want to buy. Going out on the balcony is a really nice thing to do. When do you think you will be going?

My recommendations would be to have at least one drink . . . Going out on the balcony is a really nice thing to do.

But don't do both at the same time. That'll get you in trouble!

Eat slowly, take time to enjoy the ambience! Dress a little nicer than you would if just going to the park.

Most of all, just enjoy the company of the people you are with!

Oh, yeah, good point! There is a dress code at the Club, and the lunch dress code is different from the dinner dress code.

Take everything in and enjoy all of it knowing it's Disneyland history you are seeing! Ask a cast member any questions you have. They are very knowledgeable and love to talk about Walt and the history. Ask about the furniture pieces along the hallway as you go to the main dining room. They don't mind people taking pictures. Any table you sit at is special. They will seat you. If it is just two of you, you will usually sit next to the opened doors along the balconies in the main dining area. When you come in the lobby, make sure you get your picture before you go up. You will be seated in one of two dining areas. The first one you see is full of pictures, memorablia, the microphones in the lights and the animatronic birds. Take a look at it all, even if you are not seated in there. (After you are finished eating, looking and buying, it's usually a good time to go in there as everyone else is done eating as well.) As far as food, they change their menus often and everything is simply wonderful. If you are there for lunch, you will go to a buffet for appetizers. Your meal will be off a menu and they will serve that to you. Then, the desserts are also a buffet. Take one of everything and enjoy!!! For dinner, everything is served. It's a little more formal. For dress, it's casual nice. We asked lots of cast members and even stopped club 33 cast members before our first time. You will find everyone going just dresses park casual, but a little nicer. People even where their tennys in there. They don't expect people to be in heels and fancy clothes. After your meal, the items you can buy are in a case as you walk in. Take your time, have a ball, and take lots of pictures. It's so special!!! You will never forget it! Let us know about your experience!!!
