Where are the princes?

This week I talked to a family from arizona and the mother of the family brought up a good point, Where are the walk around princes? The wife told me how unfair it is that her hubby can have a picture with Ariel but wheres Eric for her to get a picture with? I know they are in the parades and in fantasmic but I agree with her, I love to have my picture with prince Eric or charming any day!What do you gals or guys think?

I've seen Prince Charming a few times, but nobody else (other than the beast). I'm curious too - give the ladies something to pose with!

Yes, I would love to see more of the men. You do see Aladdin, and the Beast, and also Prince Charming is at the dinner at the 1900 Park Fare restaurant.

I've heard that the Princes always join their Princesses on Valentine's Day, but not very many other times during the year...just the parade and Fantasmic.

Whenever I go to Disneyland I see mostly princess unless I am watching the parae. Somtimes I will see a prince but rarely.

Personally, I could care less about princes. However, I agree, there is no reason why they cannot appear in the park too.

I just miss the days when any costumed character was free to roam the park without a photo station or chaperone.

The princesses have more freedom when they are out and about though.

I've seen characters wander pretty freely recently. I would like it more if they were less structured, but unfortunately the current way allows people to locate characters easier.

I did see Prince Phillip last weekend and while not a prince Bert is with Mary Poppins all the time as well.

I've seen Tarzan before in Adventureland at the exit of the treehouse... but that was more of a thing whe the attraction re-opened.

I'm still waiting to see Jessica Rabbit out and about. hehe

I think this is a great question. It's funny to see all the movies ending up in a marriage to a prince, and then the princesses walking around during the meet and greets, at Ariel's Grotto, and elsewhere, but the princes are no-where to be found!

Wow, captain hook. Good luck getting Don Karnage and Launchpad McQuack! I was lucky enough to get photos with those two during the Disney Afternoon promotion, but I never seen them ever since.

And even though we still have a Roger Rabbit ride... they don't really let him out to play anymore. It might be an ownership issue since Spielberg owns half of the character pretty much.

I never thought about this, but it is kinda sad that you ladies are stuck with Sheriff Woody and the Mad Hatter! I love eating over at Ariel's Grotto, but the food isn't the reason why, it's all the attention I get from the princesses!
