Well, yet another Micechatter who enjoyed the Friday the 13th Mickey's Halloween Treat Event. I have seen the other reports and they did excellant jobs on portraying the fun that was had this night. I will try to do my best to do the same. Forgive my blurriness of some photos. I had a 2 1/2 year old in tote and my parents...things went kinda slow but we all still had fun.
Let the Report BEGIN!
SO LET'S GET READY EVERYONE!
Oh wait...dogs aren't allowed to go...the dog was NOT happy as he was dressed and ready to go.

So we were off! minus the dog
I had hoped to have left early enough to get a good place in line...but traffic says "NO!"
Great shot of traffic with Los Angeles in the horizon:

After a traffic jam on the 57 and a stop at El Polo Loco...we finally arrive!
Some instructions for us Trick Or Treaters:

Pink Ladies and T-Bird ready to GO!

Saw this as we were walking towards the park...YEAH!

After we showed the CM's this:

WE WERE IN!!!

These were really cool....the Ghost and Pumpkin Lamps:

Hollywood Backlot and the Tower. Please forgive the dark pictures.

The Little T-Bird chases around the lights on the ground...and does a cool "Grease" kinda pose!

More chasing:

Time for some CANDY! I mean that is why we are here right?

Then the rain came DOWN! Video here! There was about 10 minutes of pelting rain! I think this scared alot of people away because after the rain the park just emptied out!
------------------------------
Talking Scarecrow right outside of Bug's Land...These were a hit last year but in my opinion they seemed lacking this year. There was only one this year to.

Short Video of the Talking Scarecrow
--------------------------
This year there seemed more entertainment and DJ's. I liked that.

The 50's Dancers Video: They really liked us Pink Ladies and T-bird
)
Pluto as a Clown!

My sister and I with some villians...

The lady behind us was dressed as the Evil Queen...

Mickey and Minnie all dressed up!

Time for some rides!
Soarin....I forgot how nauseated this ride makes me...ugh!

SF Bridge...see my foot?

Short Video of Soarin...
Then the ending...(yeah, I need a bigger memory card for my V530)
---------------------------------------
Then it was off to ride the tower to join hollywood1939 and our friend on her 1000th ride on the tower! It was great to finally meet you hollywood1939!

Glasses from one of my fav episodes!

Um..OK?

Sadako...this one is for YOU! I found the legs...and my sister just about freaked out! I said.."OMG what is THAT?"! it was classic!

And it looks like they have changed the photo covers to match the new theme:

Being that we rode with my friend on her 1000th and the last ride of the night, we left DCA completely empty....it was about Midnight when we walked out...here is the emptiness...

Overall...it was better than last year. There was more live entertainment that I liked, more photo op spots with characters and more candy. I think, however, I am going to go on my own next year.
