Francis Lady Bug Boogie - It will be back

Not sure if this was noted somewhere else, but it appears that Francis Lady Bug Boogie will be back.
On Saturday as we were walking through Bug's Land heard some sounds going on behind the walls that were still up around Francis Lady Bug Boogie. In looking through the side I could see all of the Lady Bugs back and spinning around. It seemed that a couple of Cast Members were running them through some cycles. In asking another CM about them, it seems like they might be back sooner than later. He gave us the impression it could be within the week. But with it still being listed on the Disneyland Web site as down through November that might be a bit optimistic.

Great to hear they are coming back soon! That is the only ride that is decent in Bugs Land. Well, Flik's Flyers are kinda cool. :-)

I am such a horrible Disney fan. I've never been, nor seen this ride. What exactly does it do?

They should get rid of it. Taking up real estate and breaking down consistantly. A poor DCA Substitiute for the Tea Cups!

I think that Flik's Flyers are probably the most original design for a hub and spoke attraction in either park.

I also have a soft spot for Heimlich's Chew Chew Train.

Will the return of the Lady Bug Boogie be billed as Francis Lady Bug Boogie 2: Electric Boogie-loo?

It's like the teacups only there are three ?? sets of three ??? ladybug that spin around and cross each other's tracks (hence the jerkiness) The bugs spion as well.

And I love Flik's Flyers!

They were running and testing them behind the refurb walls this afternoon, looks like they should be back up and running for the public soon....

I thought I read someohere that they were down for a long time... like till the end of 2007?

I would love for them to return. They are fun.

I saw them running the tests on Thrusday too. I haven't ever been on them. My son always just wants to ride the Chew Chew Train. We'll have to check them out if they are open next time we are in the area.
