Seeing workers, noise and dust virtually around the clock on the Subs and the Matterhorn makes me wonder.... are the TDA project managers getting so terribly far behind schedules that they are violating Rule Number One at Disneyland? The intent and objective has always been to make the magic invisible - that's why it's called magic! What happened at the Magic Kingdom to necessitate bringing work crews and equipment onstage during park hours?
In the immortal words of some TDA engineering wizards - "The real magic of Disneyland is that we open every day." Did the project managers sell the Burbank and TDA suits on mythical (not magical) schedules and opening dates?
Disneyland is showing her age, and I think it's about time that management stopped worrying so much about maximizing revenue and started worrying about maintaining the magic - or Anaheim will turn into Magic Mountain.....
