Parade of Dreams Audio- ?

Does anyone know exactly how the audio works on Parade of Dreams. Some People seem to be a little dissappointed by the sound not being loud enough or something?
How does it work? Does music actually come out of the parade speakers along the route, or does it just come from within each float?

On May 5, several of the speakers around the Hub were turned off so as not to blow the media out of their tents. After being unable to hear the parade well from our location, we mentioned it to a CM and the sound was restored in time for the fireworks show.
