Vic and I arrived about noon. We wanted to see the Halloween decorations. We skipped DCA this trip, but here's a shot of the sign

Disneyland was all decked out for Halloween, even before you entered!

Even the Mickey floral has been changed.

Main Street USA is definately in the Halloween Time mode!

City Hall

It had been awhile since we rode any of the Main Street vehicles, so we climbed aboard Uncle Walt's Firetruck for a ride to The Hub.

Then it was over to Frontierland to see The Haunted Mansion's holiday overlay.

What a way to go!

It had been a while since we'd been to Tom Sawyer's Island, so today we decided to make a visit.

I had forgotten just how beautiful and nice TSI was.

The Mark Twain rounds the bend...

The end of the line...

My favorite shot of the day...

It kind of reminds me of a vintage Disneyland postcard...

Then it was over to Splash Mountain. Here's a shot taken from the ride

Soon, we were plummeting down the waterfall!

Back in Big Thunder Ranch, Woody's Halloween RoundUp was going on

We've never eaten at Pizza Port, so we wanted to walk through just to take a look. While we were there, we saw a bunch of Disney people and a cameraman. I have no clue why they were filming. There were no actors, so I doubt it was for a commercial.

The Tomorrowland Terrace is back!

Then we went to Space Mountain!

Back on Main Street, we wanted to see the Flag Retreat Ceremony. Along the way, I snapped this photo of the street lamps. Tink is gone along with the flower pots. HalloweenTime takes their place.

The Dapper Dans conducted the ceremony. The "Million Dreams" team was there too. A pair of young Disneyland guests got to be honorary CMs for the ceremony and hold the flags.

After the Flag Retreat Ceremony, we met up with Dusty Sage and Fishbulb for a few more rides. First, we all got Fast Passes for Space Mountain, then headed to Frontierland for a ride on BTMRR. After that, we went on the Jungle Cruise. We still had some time to wait for Space Mountain, so we all took a spin on the Astro Orbitor.
That's Victoria in the nearest rocket and Dusty just ahead of her.

After Space Mountain, it was time to go.

The four of us headed to Downtown Disney to enjoy a nice dinner and a chilled adult beverage at the Uva Bar. The evening was over too quick.
Victoria and I had a wonderful time at Disneyland... and it was made even more enjoyable by connecting with Fishbulb and Dusty Sage.
We gotta do this more often!
