No, it's not exactly like "the big city".
Nothing WRONG with that, by the way.

As far as dueling Piano bars go I'm a fan of Rockin Taco Cantina in Downtown Fullerton. They have great performers and all their bartenders are flair bartenders so they can all do those crazy bartending tricks and stuff.

I'm surprised no one mentioned S. Coast Metro.
Many first rate restaurants (some of the best in the county), The Performing Arts Center, the Segerstrom Concert Hall, South Coast Repertory Theater right next door with two auditoriums.

Next time, try going to Zankou (http://www.zankouchicken.com/index.html) and get some Armenian chicken. It's about 3 blocks west of DL, at 2424 W. Ball Rd. They're open until 10 every night.

I would go to a movie, but then that's the kind of wild high roller I am. Go see The Departed, it is an amazing family flick, with a warm message for the whole family.*
*Note- By 'Amazing family flick' I mean there is so much violence, killing and drugs this film makes Pulp Fiction look like Lady and the Tramp.
