  • A Day at Disneyland Video

My parents bought this video for me during one of our trips back in about 1990. I used to watch that video all the time. It's 15 years later now and every time my nephew visits he demands that we watch it. I noticed there is a new one on DVD format at Disneyland being sold. Is this worth buying? I want something with new rides on it that I can show to him so he wont be scared on his next visit.

Ive been looking for this video on DVD also.

My sister bought the new DVD and wasnt thrilled with it, ( I havent seen it yet)
she said A Day At Disneyland is still way better and longer.

It would be nice to see what other people think before I buy it though.
For now, Ill be sticking with my original.

(do you think the Finding Nemo Subs line will be under 3 hours by then?)

A Day At Disneyland is at the video rental place a few blocks from here. I thought it was kind of okay. The tape quality, sadly, wasn't that great.

If I am thinking of the same DVD that you saw, save your pennies. The Souvenir DVD is a near identical presentation as the Vacation Planner that you can get for free, but with about 4 minutes of additional cheesy DVD features. I returned mine promptly to my local Disney Store for a refund, feeling ripped off.

I love A Day at Disneyland! I used to watch that so often as a kid and even now occasionally feel the need to pop it in the VCR!
