Re: Your First Disneyland Visit
I was 3 years old the first time that I went. My parents took me down for the opening of the New Fantasyland. I have lived in Utah, Oregon, and Georgia in my life and I have been to Disneyland at least once a year since 1983. Up until 2004 anyway. Didn't make it that year. Since the mid 90's I have averaged many more than just once a year.
My wife and I bought Premium AP's in June and we have been many times this year. My two year old son was there for his first trip on July 17, 2005. He has already been 7 times in his short life.Check out my new Disney Blog here. What it lacks in quality it makes up with... Well, nothing I guess.

Re: Your First Disneyland Visit
Like, 2, 3 years ago? Def. 19 and OVER!!!Good morning, son
In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
It was pain
Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Re: Your First Disneyland Visit
I was nine because that's when we moved to California. My mom didn't like it so I didn't go back until I went on my own. But, I've done better for my kids. One inside me, one at six months, one at 10 months, one at 1 yr., one at 2, one at 3, one at 4. (Not all the same trip and not all in that order)

Re: Your First Disneyland Visit
I was eight (8) when I first visited Disneyland back in 1987.
I've begun to upload some of my photographic evidence of that trip here:
I guess my fondest memories of the past include the now rarer characters (Brer Bear), being caught under Merlin's sleeve and the Subs.
Since then I've only been to Disneyland once (2005), Hong Kong Disneyland once (2006) and am planning a bi-coastal trip in 2008.

Re: Your First Disneyland Visit
My first visit was 2 years ago, so 19+ would be correct. Of course, I'm on the east coast where going to WDW as a child would have been more likely than DL.Amanda
Just remember without a well written Disney Villain, there would be no point in the Heroes and the Princesses. Have you hugged a Disney Villain today?

I was 3. Afraid of everything but Dumbo."I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. "Groucho Marx

I'm very proud to say my first visit was at the age of 5... in 1955."Yesterday, a man walked up to me and said, 'Isn't it a shame that Walt Disney couldn't be here to see this?' and I said, "He did see this, that's why it's here."

Re: Your First Disneyland Visit
At age 16! Two months ago! But hey, the Disney magic knows no age boundaries, right?
I actually missed the opportunity several times. First in '97, when my Grandparents and cousin drove down to the States. I was 7... too afraid to be without my real parents for such a long time . Then back in 2000, when I was 10, my mom got this huge tax return and I begged her to take me to Disneyland. But since my aunt came along, and she had already been to DL, we ended up heading to WDW.
But thankfully, I did end up visiting Disneyland eventually... and with pretty good timing. We hit the park just before the end of summer, with all the rides refurbished and open. Not to mention before the 50th anniversary began being disassembled- Paul

Re: Your First Disneyland Visit
My first time was when my family went on vacation in 1993-94 (end of year) when I was 5 and we lived in New Jersey. I'm 18 now and still remember some of my first trip to Disneyland. What I remember specifically: Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Matterhorn, Autopia, Subs, Pirates, and walking to the exit through Fantasyland at the end of the day. I'm sure we must have done other "gentler" things too, since I would have had siblings at ages 3, 2, and <1 and I was 5, but I just remember those. Almost a year after coming down here on vacation, we moved to Fullerton in 1994, when I was 6. A little later, we all got APs and my Mom would take us to the park after school fairly often. Those were the days... I haven't had an AP in many, many years and had only been to the park a few times in the last few years before working there.

And well you should be proud, Mr. Chaney...
My first visit, according to my mother, was when I was three years old, sometime in either 1959 or 1960.
I remember being frightened by the Indians in the old Indian Village.
I remember seeing Jimmie Dodd in the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
And I remember eating pancakes at Aunt Jemima's.
And wearing a little sailor's suit that everyone said I looked so cute in (gag me)
