  • Goodbye to Fritters?

Fritters are one of my favorite snacks at Disneyland other than the Dole Whips, but I believe they use fat. Does that mean with the new health regulations the delicious treats will vanish along with the deep fryer?

they aren't getting rid of fats. it's the transfat oils. I think they will replace those in the fryers with something else.

You can easily replace the fritters with a bed of broccoli, then insert carrot sticks. Cover with a thick paste made from soy extract and wheatgerm, and the kiddies will never know the difference......unless they're still breathing.
As nice as the other parks are, we must always remember that it all began at Disneyland. Disneyland should be the crown jewel in the Disney crown.

If they did that, they'd have to get rid of churros, McD fries, chicken strips, chimichangas, Monte Crisco sandwiches... the list could go on and on...

I hope not, I'm really tired of restaurants and places getting rid of food because some people can't watch what they eat.

Gee, Disneyland actually offering more healthy choices...so that us people who "can't watch what we eat" might actually have more options, while taking nothing away from the rest of you that obviously have more self-control.

              What a concept.

Luckily, I made enough of those fritters in my years there to ever want to eat another one. Talk about greasy...

I wonder if Disney will put out a list of the things that they are taking off the menus or if one day they'll all just disappear....

                My best score ever!

This is the third round of Disneyland publicly announcing newer more healthy food choices being added to the Park's offerings (the last one was around 6 to 8 years ago if I recall). There may have even been more.

But if it's like the other two...the healthy choice offerings seem to go bye-bye if they don't sell well enough, and after awhile it's pretty much back to normal. Then expect someone else to get the "healthy" idea all over again, and we see a repeat of the whole Press Release deal.

I'd eat fruit there like if it was cheaper, I loves my fruit.
