Re: Monorail in December???
The scheduled return of the Monorails is December 16th, and as far as I know, they are on schedule to make that date.
When it returns, it will once again be in "shuttle" mode offering one-way trips from Tomorrowland to Downtown Disney thru DCA.
The Lagoon section of the track will still be closed due to the Finding Nemo construction.Check out my Theme Park Photos at http://darkbeer.smugmug.com

Re: Monorail in December???
The Lagoon section will more than likely not return until May or June... (maybe earlier)
As for the Lagoon walls, they will stay up.
The new entrance to the Tomorrowland station is the east end, next to Autopia, so you will have a pathway basically where the old Autopia exit was to the new rampway to the upper level. Of course, refurb walls will block the Finding Nemo queue construction.Check out my Theme Park Photos at http://darkbeer.smugmug.com

Re: Monorail in December???
The new layout sounds interesting - a reversal of the platform. It's still going to cause problems with having the lift over the other side of the platform though, as they would now need an extra CM to guard the lift from line jumpers. I still with they did more work on the station - now would have been a great time for less dated railings, de-bronzeification and a new canopy.Last edited by drnilescrane; 10-23-2006, 04:01 AM.

The new layout should require less CM's to operate, as all Cm's now will work on the second level and can do multiple functions (such as count guests thru the turnstile at the top of the ramp, and then help with load/unload while the train is at the station).Check out my Theme Park Photos at http://darkbeer.smugmug.com
