  • Top Secret, Coming Soon Sign.

The sign at the exit of 50 Magical Years. It's right nest to the Monsters Inc. concept art. I'm guessing it's the subs. Right?

        Everybody loves a cliff-hanger, right?
As nice as the other parks are, we must always remember that it all began at Disneyland. Disneyland should be the crown jewel in the Disney crown.

From every account I read of interviews and annoucements during May 5th they did mention that beyond Turtle Talk and Monster's Inc, something much much much bigger was being planned for DCA but was at least perhaps 3 to 5 years away.

where did you read these interviews?

also, I think the top secret may be the subs, originally planned to be announced on the 5th but then changed to 7/17 so that's why we have the top sceret picture instead.

At least we get SOMETHING on the 17th. Geeeeeeez.
Well, light travels from the sun. Then, bounces off of our planet, and back into our eyes so we can perceive color. My body can intercept that light and dance around on it!

I thought it was the Subs, but then why would they say that is "top secret" when the walls up around the lagoon makes it pretty obvious what's gonna be built there? Not exactly a secret...

From what I understand, the "big thing" that Tony Baxter and Steve Jobs is talking about would be the Incredibles ride... a dark ride with a true twist. You're on a robotic arm on a coaster track... legs suspended.

Eat your heart out Amazing Adventures of Spiderman! LOL

I'm not saying that's what is going to replace the "Top Secret" thing on there, just that it's supposedly in the works.

Honestly, I don't think it means anything but a reminder that "Disneyland will never be completed as long is there is imagination...". I do hope that once the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage (or whatever it will be called) is announced, we'll see some conceptual artwork and/or a scale model. Viva la return of the preview center!!!

I had heard the Disney podcast interview with Tony Baxter just before I went to see "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy". There is a scene near the end (no spoilers) that showed a device that I thought would tie in nicely with the type of ride Baxter was hinting at. Your message is along the same idea.

Ive seen that website about that arm a couple times last year.. It would be cool for incredibles since the villian uses a robot. But man that thing looks expensive.. U think that would go to DL.. Ever since TOT seems like DL is always getting the cheap end of rides.

It's planned to be built in DCA... but I'd imagine a clone for WDW almost immediately.

I'm guessing it's the subs, that robocoaster thing looks to extreme for Disney anyways.
