Just this evening, my mother made reservations for Goofy's Kitchen on December 23rd!:yea:

Does anybody know about requesting tables when you first get there? You see, my mother asked about getting a table in the center near the food, and near the characters.

Not sure....I don't know if I would want to be at one of those couple tables right near the food and where they dance, etc. too many kids right at your table. The characters will come to you, and you can go to the food. Just my two cents.... good luck on having a great experience! I love goofy's kitchen!!!

You can ask, but they do seat first come first served type, and according to the size of your party.

We have asked for a particular section in the past and they have complied.

We are a large group (about 6-8), so are choices are limited. We usually get a table in that room next to the food, or in the walkway going up to the raised area. Both are OK, but sometimes you might get skipped over by the characters in the enclosed room. You NEVER get missed while enjoying food in the main aisleway. Of course, some folks are looking at the characters instead of where they are walking and a collision can occur. (first-hand experience)

Oh well. It's all good!

...and if you've got food in your mouth it's even more odd. I guess you can hug while chewing.

I love Goofy's Kitchen, so why wasn't I invited to this dinner? :lol:

I'm sure you can ask for a certain location/table. As for the characters, they walk around the entire dining areas, so no matter where you sit, the characters will be there...eventually.

We like sitting in the round room off to the side. There's a lot of space in there, the tables are large (we're usually 5-7 people in our party) and the characters aren't interrupted a thousand times as they are when you're seated in an aisle area, or near the food. Your party will get more concentrated time with each character.

When we've sat near the food or in any other area, the character interaction hasn't been as good. We've sat in pretty much every area, (including once in priority seating) some more than once....but that round room the last three times and it's been wonderful for the kids.

That's the one! The characters hang out in there forever!

Once someone at another table asked for a group picture, so the Mad Hatter gathered up every single person in the room for a group picture. :lol: The person was really embarrassed, but that's the point, right?

Once in there, the Mad Hatter sat down at our table and asked for a cup of tea and they brought it to him. Really cute.

Once in there, the Mad Hatter sat down at our table and asked for a cup of tea and they brought it to him. Really cute.

Mbot and I had the kids's birthday celebration there once and we were in that room. The kids got SO Much attention from the characters! Goofy was GREAT!!! Mbot great shots of Goofy and Kyler.

The Mad Hatter is my favorite at Goofy's :love: he's so great

We went on Oct. 24 and set in the round window area. We must have been there at the wrong time because we sat down just as the Mad Hatter and Genie were leaving the area. After that only goofy (coming through for a birthday) and Alice came by. We had more luck seeing the characters during the activity times around the food. We didn't even see any characters at the front picture area. We still had fun and the food was great.

If you can request a spot, request it for the back next to or near the door the characters enter and leave from! I had so much fun there on 10/29! Characters always visited us twice or more!

Goofy, Pluto, Peter Pan (Omg I freaked out he's my favorite, first time I saw him there), Alice, Geppeto, Pinnochio, Minnie, and I could swear I saw one more but cannot remember.

Goofy was hilarious by the way, he was in love with my digital camera. He ended up taking it, snapped a picture of my face then ran off to the table next to us and captured some very random pictures of the people there. It was hilarious! Goofy played with me the whole time I was there as I was closest to the door.

I just can't stop thinking about what characters I'm going to see this time!

On my last visit on Thanksgiving of 2005, I saw Goofy, Max, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Belle, Aladdin.

Great day to go there should be a good bunch of characters. Would ask at check in for seating preferences. We've had a great time there the last few years on that exact date. Take your time eating so that you have the best chance to see all the characters. It will seem more crowded outside Goofies than in. Be sure to bring your camera and take your picture with your favorite character. We saw Cinderella, Jasmine, Goofy, Alice, The Mad Hatter, Max, Baloo, and Alladin last year. Have a Great Time.

I've only gone once, but I would like to see the Mad Hatter and Alice this year. I would really like to see Peter Pan and Wendy there, too. Jasmine would be cool too.

Anybody have photos to share from their visit to Goofy's Kitchen during the holidays? Does anybody have any pictures of the characters I've never seen at Goofy's Kitchen?
