  • Tigger Gloves on Ebay

I was goofing around the other day and came across these Tigger Gloves on ebay. Apparently they're the real deal...the stuff cast members use at Disneyland. I put my bid in. Here's the link:

    Yeah, but the seller didn't.

You're buying stolen goods. That is, if they're legit. Is it just me, or do they look really phoney?

Yes, I think the stripes on real Tigger's hands are longer than that.

During that trial last year over alleged fondling, one of the attorney's wore various parts of the Tigger costume and I remember seeing a picture of him just wearing the gloves. Can't find that online anymore, unfortunately. Just the one of him wearing the complete costume in court (heh) and with the various parts on the table holding up the head in the air.

That is really sad, can't someone email the Ebay Support staff and have that removed?

Someone should buy them and quietly return them.

Ummm since when are you allowed to take costumes home?? I know the gloves are probably the easiest to sneak - but when they are missing it is fairly obvious.

That and you think Disney can afford more than strips of felt glues onto orange fur...

I'm sure loss prevention will be all over that auction long before the 10 day fuse runs out

hmmmm, I am not sure about what Tigger's paws look like in DL, but from a WDW perspective, those do not look like the real deal from those pics.

              Just my opinion,

I bet these are the real deal. However, I really wish people wouldn't auction off Disney's property like this...

One photo showing this is here: http://photoalbums.wdwmagic.com/show...at=528&page=13

O well, someone will own them I guess.

Actually, Tigger DOES have stripes on his gloves... as in here and here. The ones on Ebay look too... flat... or something.

I did bid on them (when people have reserves on their auctions my curiousity takes over and I play a sort of "Russian Roulette" and I guess a number... a couple of times this backfired and I ended up actually winning... oops... LoL) so all I know is this person is asking for over $25.

hmm, you ar right...perhaps she just go it wrong? She is a face char. so may not know as much about the furs. I should know the answer, but do not.

It would be easy if the barcoded the fur like they do the other costumes.

So those that bid on it have no problem purchasing stolen goods?

It's todays mindset of "If I didn't steal them, it's okay..."

they do, it's on the inside of every piece, along with an identifier tag that says when the piece was made in fullerton.
