    DisneyLand secrets (shhh)

What are your DisneyLand insider secrets/information? It can be anything from something some people only know to what only a few people know. Anything that isn't super well known or obvious. My goal though, is to get some really cool information not many people know about. What are your DisneyLand insider secrets? I'll start with some examples (maybe you don't know this):

There is a hidden eeyore sign in the back of the projection room on Indiana Jones. Ask a CM and they will show you...If they have a flashlight!

Supposedly, the crow in the haunted mansion is actually the narrator.

There is a guy on splash mountain who sits in the dark in a chair...Right before you go up the highest hill for the big drop.

The truck outside of Indiana Jones was used in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I've mentioned this one before, but still think it's cool...

If you're walking through the castle towards Fantasyland, enter the shop through the immediate left hand entrance, look around the open door and you will see another narrow door. When opened it's a ladder that leads to the upper floors of the castle. Dark and dank, and I've known a few CMs to attempt a climb, but I have heard of it both being a happy place for spiders and mice! It's cool though!

Behind the giant CALIFORNIA sign, they've hidden a theme park.

Some CMs even know of its location.

There is a real pet cemetary in the Haunted Mansion que. Ask a CM and they will take you to it.

Sorry to say Loomis, that was debunked on Mythbusters. Your so called theme park was proven to actually be a large shopping center.
Stalking is when two people go for a long romantic walk together but only one of them knows about it.

It was going to be the narrator... Thats why the crow is everywhere in the attraction, because it wasnt just going to caw, it was going to narrate.

Sorry, nope, but I had the perfect opportunity. Last time I was there they were doing a position change and they had the outside door open so it was lit up. Talk about a boring job.

^ Ya, its just a CM. If you look off to the right just before you go up the lifthill you might be able to see him/her.

The CM that sits at the bottom of the lift hill is part of the shift rotation, so they don't have to stay there long.

The position is required by Disney Safety Lawyers, and was a compromise to installing lap bars and/or seatbelts, or making the height requirement taller.

omg, no wonder! One time me and my friends were having fun and randomly started rocking the boat, when we heard "stop rocking the boat" from somewhere...thought they were speakers or something.

I'd get one but I don't want to get chastised for using flash photography. :whistling

Inside the Matterhorn on the 5th level is that mini half basketball court (everyone knows this) and a checkers/chess board painted onto a box. This is where the maintenance crew for Skyway hung out. The elevator up is a rickety scary scary ride. But once you're up top, the view of the park is amazazing. The ride itself occupies 4 stories of the mountain.

And while we're on the Matterhorn, there's a tribute to Frank G. Wells, executive who died in a helicopter crash. Some would say that's where the Eisner regime began to shoot downward.

If you go to the top floor of TDA's parking structure, you can see where they house the parade floats. You can also see where they keep the horses that pull you down main street. If it's a breezy day, you'll be able to smell where they stable the horses. P.U.
