  • Forgotten on Innoventions

This thread is a little late, as I last went to Disneyland last spring, but while I was there with my mum and my best friend, we went to Innoventions. We were on the rotating plate and we were told by "Tom Morrow" that we'd be inside in 10...9..8.... By the time it reached 1 the doors weren't open and the process repeated about 6 times and we continued the rotation. We were just about to enter the building on the other side when a cast member on the other side of Tomorrowland spotted us and came over. She asked what we were doing there and we said the doors hadn't opened. Apparantly the cast member running the doors had "forgotten" about us. We had to leave through some odd gate and we got front of the line passes.

    That's hillarious!

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

Like the old Carousel of Progress used to start with...

"Most carousels just go round and round without going anywhere..."

Sounds like you almost ended up doing the same!

I'm sure it was a careless mistake. After all, those CMs aren't very accustomed to unexpected guests.

Yeah. The CMs played it off very well. They joked about saving our lives before we entered the building. They apologised about a billion times too!

And after all that waiting...it was for Innoventions.

"So you went to Disneyland, how bad were the lines?"
"Oh, not that bad, except that damn Innoventions. It had a 2 hr wait."
Stalking is when two people go for a long romantic walk together but only one of them knows about it.
