Well, I'm driving down next week. Due to the number of people coming with me, and the time of day we're leaving, I'm going to take the SUV.
Which also means I can pretty much make the trip nonstop (except for a potty break or two)--I get close to 500 miles on a tank of gas.
This also means, however, that I'm going to have to load 38 gallons of gas back into it somewhere around DLR--and I'm not familiar enough with the area to know where the decent fuel stops are. I'd prefer to fuel up in a place where the manager doesn't look like a refugee from the cast of "Deliverance", and the cost of a tank of gas doesn't require a pound of flesh.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
