  • AAA Rate for the Candy Cane

Has anyone stayed at the Candy Cane Inn for the AAA rate (or just stayed there in general)? How much was it? Was it worth it?

If you have any other hotel recommendations (walking distance of Disneyland), a reply would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Yup, last weekend. Best hotel EVER!!! We paid $99/night for AAA rates. In fact, I'm sucking up the $50.00 cancellation fee that Travelocity charges because I was so impressed (the beds are unbelivable!!!) that I changed my Christmas Vacation plans from accross the street to there! Well, well worth it.

I stayed at the Candy Cane Inn in 2003 (normal rates, at the time ~100/night for the premium room) and loved it. The beds were really comfy. The place is nicely landscaped, very close to DL, nice little pool/hot-tub area, has its own shuttle, has a nice breakfast buffet...

I would've stayed there again this last April but I booked my plans too late and rooms weren't available.

Other folks are very partial to the Howard Johnson's Anaheim which is also really close and apparently a great value for the money (slightly less than Candy Cane). I haven't stayed there, though.
