I will miss the chasing neon from the 1998 remodel. That was the best effect in that redo - too bad it didn't last long.

So far it looks like they are just painting what was bronze color to blue to match the rest of Tomorrowland. The tarps were down on the front side of the station today.

Remember: The elevator was added AFTER the subs closed, so it will need to be torn out (subs can't fit around it). I am assuming that the ramp that they are installing is ADA compatable, so there will be no more Elevator.

What I think that if going to take out the elevator Disneyland would all ready done so.
              For ADA Ramp
I know there no way we can measures the ramps max fall is ( 12:1 feet) with 30 feet run. ADA like it to 16:1 or 20:1 and 6 feet by 6 feet landing. Thay still have a long way to go before you can say is a ADA ramps system.
to me Disney still need two or three more ramps and two more landing
the elevator was put in but I can not remember when?

Now with darkbeer New photo it look like Disneyland is not take the elevator out and put in the steel form for a ramp on that side.
                      and the ramp look longer.
