Need your help with breakfast in the park

Hi all,

Going with the family and guests tomorrow. We've done the buffet and the hotels, but I decided I'd like to try breakfast in the park. Can you give me some good options? I generally like the standard pancakes and eggs, but all suggestions are welcome since I'll have guests.

Go to Adventure land and eat at the Liberty Belle. I love that place and have gotten breakfast there a couple of times. They have your standard eggs, pancake mix there.

Meh, breakfast in the park isn't all that. But the best I'd say is the frontier restauraunt overlooking the River's of America.

If you want a buffet then try the Plaza Inn. It is a character breakfast but it is buffet. Good food. Fresh fruit , cereal, Omlettes, Mickey Waffles, French Toast.

I had breakfast on Main Street (can't remember the name of the place). It was pretty good.

Surprisingly, the breakfast in Tomorrow Land isn't all that bad... The place where they have the Buzz show.. it's pretty good.

The last time I ate at the River Belle Terrace the food was horrible. Cold everything. I couldn't beleive it as I saw the food being made, but when I went to eat the eggs where already cold as where the sausages and the pancakes where aweful. I will never eat there again.
The place on Main Street is where the Carnation place used to be, but it isn't called that anymore. It is outside eating and not bad.
The Plaza Inn character breakfasts used to be $7.95 now they are double that for the same buffet type food and the same characters. I loved eating there and being mauled by the characters. What fun. But just not worth $14.95.
I eat outside the Park now over at Denny's or Pancake House. Better food and reasonable prices. McDonalds sometime for thier big breadfast if I am low on funds.

I just looked in the map and it says The RiverBelle Terrace Has Mickey Shaped Pancakes so try there. Enjoy your time in Disneyland

Carnation Cafe, if it's open. I went out this morning for breakfast there but they were having "computer problems" the whole time I was there and it didn't open.

Honestly the best breakfast is at Coco's across the street from DL. Good service and fast.

If you happen to be in Orange, CA, I recommend Watson's Diner in the Orange Circle. I think I'm going to hit it up tomorrow morning before i go to work at the park!

Definatly go to the Carnation Cafe! There's a chef's special that's amazingly good and fairly priced.

Thought I would give an update on the thread below. The Good, the Bad and the Mad...

I canceled our 11am appt. at Paradise Pier Hotel Buffet and:

The Bad: We ran late and got there just after 10:30. Carnation Cafe had a long line, so we were afraid we wouldn't make it. Plus, I really wanted the buffet (menu looked good though).

The Mad: We hustled over the the Princess Buffet and said we had 3 adults and 1 kid. She asked if he had a reservation, we said no. She looked back at the restaurant (which was CLEARLY not very full), thought for a few seconds, and said they were only taking late reservations. I asked please, we're hungry, but she said no. There was no question she could have said yes, and would it really be a big deal to collect 60 dollars from us? Really upset the wife, but I sucked it up and quickly walked to the River Belle Terrace...

The Good (sort of): The line here started at the door, but the wait took FOR EVER! I'm serious, it was looooong. Cut to the chase: Pancakes pretty good, eggs terrible, fruit ok, atmosphere on porch great.

Overall it was the treatment, after hurring for 1 hour to get there in time, that made it somewhat sour.

But hey, after that we spent the entire day singing, playing and having fun.

Glad you had a goot time overall!

I just have to say that the most fantastic b-fast buffet in all of DLR is the Storytellers Cafe in the GCH. Freakin AWESOME!!
