  • When does the 50th celebration end?

Hey, just a quick question. How long will Disneyland be celebrating the 50th (meaning the decorations, fireworks, parades, etc). We are planning a 2 day hotel trip on August 29-30 with some friends from out of state and were wondering if the celebration would still be going on.

    Thanks!

they said it will be 18 months... so that makes it... um... *counts* November of 2006 when it ends...

almost...Disney is using (to quote a 2000 campaign term) fuzzy math on its 18 month celebration. They seem to think it can end in late September 2006 and still be 18 months...

I imagine the celebration will officially end on Nov 3, 2006 when the XMAS decorations are installed for that season.

Exactly. That way they can go straight into their Christmas season.

Thanks for the help guys. But does that mean that they aren't putting up all their normal X-Mas decorations this year?

That's been a topic of debate. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
