  • (NEW) Wait times posted on Fantasyland rides

    Everyone,

A couple of weeks ago I found out that Disney was going to be adding wait time boards to my beloved Fantasyland! Although a lot of people on this board don't really need them because we can look at the line and judge it, most day guests don't know this and would end up waiting in an hour line thinking it was 20 minutes. Now that the wait time boards are here, I believe that wait times will go down simply because some day guests might not want to wait 60+ minutes for Dumbo when the line is in the extended queue.

Well, The wait times are here!

I present to you: Mr. Toads wild ride wait time sign.

They have more, but this is the only one I got a picture of.

Re: (NEW) Wait times posted on Fantasyland rides

I thought they purposely didn't want to put wait times for Fantasyland rides because most people (those who go occassionaly instead of regularly) would think that a line is only about 15 to 20 minutes long when it's really about 40 minutes long. Won't the long wait times discourage people from waiting in line?

Wow, I'll have to find these. Didn't think they would do because as previously stated, people think it's a shorter line than it actually is without the wait times.

I think they really needed it on Pan.... I can't tell you how many people I have brought to Disneyland, saw the line for pan, and said "thats like 15 minutes... lets wait!"

Of course, the line is never 15 minutes... not even at park closing.
